In most religions the quest for knowledge is expressed in terms of light: seeking enlightenment. And this season abounds with festivals of light, despite or perhaps because, it is the darkest time of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere anyway.)
October has brought to the Masons of Ontario, shorter daylight hours and the end of a summer of sunshine and warmth which at times seemed it would never end.
V.W. Bro. Mark Pogue is presented with the regalia of a Grand Steward at the September meeting of Ionic Lodge #536. The meeting was a celebration of V.W. Bro. Pogue and his contributions to the Craft.
