Randy comes from a family with lengthy Masonic roots, most recently with his father Donald Gaw who was initiated into Ionic Lodge in 1950; his grandfather James Gaw who was Master of Mt. Zion #28 (Kemptville) in 1942; and, a great-great uncle Peter Smith who was Master of Mt. Zion #28 in 1877 and 1907.
He is married to Nazira and lives in Kanata. They have two daughters, Jaime Robinson (married to Jason with son Liam and daughter Caitlin) and Shannon Ranger (married to Benoit with sons Olivier and Mattéo). Both daughters and their families live in Stittsville so there is lots of grandparenting fun close by.
His interests include fire protection, space exploration, drag racing and curling.
W. Bro. Gaw is passionate about continuing and strengthening our Ionic Lodge Commitments as a working Lodge. It is with humble appreciation and gratitude to the Brethren of Ionic Lodge, that he looks forward to a very busy and rewarding year on his Masonic journey.
